Our Spring Plant Sale will feature a Silent Auction of Hort industry donations and our selection of unusual, rare, first offerings, splendid specimens, and artful arrangements.
Here are the first Hort Industry donations from Sierra Azul Nursery in Watsonville, CA: Phylica pubescens, a landscaping shrub from So. Africa with fine textured foliage developing a gold cast, Brunia albiflora, a tall fynbos shrub with somewhat whirled branching and unusual, clustered, globose inflorescences ringed with white flowers, and lastly the dazzling Agave lophantha ‘Quadricolor’ which can sell for $27 in a 3.5 in. pot! This is a big, garden ready, plant. Remember, the auction will be held from 11 AM until 1 PM and to win, bidders must be present to collect their plants!
