UCSC Arboretum’s Plant Sale, Sat., April 13 will feature a Silent Auction of Hort industry donations and our selections of unusual, rare, first offerings, splendid specimens, and artful arrangements, including one of the best (most crenulated) forms of Andromischus merianiae forma herrei with a good purple flush in sun! This small, collector’s plant grows in South Africa and Namibia. It is not difficult to grow, just slow. Perhaps the convoluted leaf surface catches condensation in habitat.
